DC Imageworks exists because I didn't want to work anymore (woops), and believed I could build a livelihood in sharing my creatity with others through photography and design (that one worked out OK!).
In the beginning, I took every gig I could - weddings, events, sports photography, anything that required a camera and a creative eye. Working with everyone from derby girls to churches, cosplayers to expectant moms, and learning something new with each new client, I built a diverse portfolio and a love for the off-beat and the authentic.
10 years and dozens of clients later, I continue to specialize in keeping her photography accessible, genuine, and fun. With a passion for celebrating big moments and small ones, I give the same personalized creativity to portraits for youth and families, head shots, creative collaborations, and performing arts photography. As a mom of two high-energy little boys, I especially excel in the patience and creativity needed to beautifully capture kids of all ages and stripes.
Each human is unique, and I strive to photograph each of my clients in a way that is unique to them.
